I was introduced to this industry during a chaotic time. While juggling my young family with a high-pressure job, two car accidents led me to the door of a highly recommended broker. As I navigated the landscape of my costly personal insurance with my broker, I discovered a keen interest in how insurance works; and we both agreed – that I should be a broker too.

This is when my career began: from the ground, up. I became licensed, entered the industry in a junior role, and began my ascent.

Once I got started, Commercial Insurance captured my focus. I systematically built my expertise to avoid the common mistakes brokers can make when they rush to “sell” coverage without understanding the needs of their clients. I invested time into learning the framework for Commercial Insurance, how the industry works, and what my clients would expect from me. By the time I moved into sales, I cared with authenticity. I was able to deliver clarity, peace of mind, and most importantly – the right coverage.

The majority of my clients already have insurance when they meet me. What they seek is a broker who works harder to understand their business, their needs, and the “ins and outs” of what keeps them up at night. They value my assistance because I position myself as an insurance consultant who understands how they make a living, and the difficulties they face.

I collaborate with my clients to discover the best possible solutions – not the “fastest” solutions. This often yields a better overall policy package, in both coverage and price. My sales are not based on fear, pressure or cost. My sales are based on trust – and over time, this trust only grows with my approach to long term care.
